The following are forbidden and will be punished with a simple
kick up to a perm ban from the channel.
Keep in mind that the anonymity of the internet creates a
false sense of security in people, causing them to say things they would never
say to you in real life. So if you are confronted with a situation like this,
all IRC clients have a great feature called 'IGNORE'
1. Advertising and inviting

Advertising and/or inviting to other channels or websites is forbidden in every
way (msg/notice)
2. Flood (Ctcp, Repeat, Length, Join/Part flood)
- Sending ctcp’s
- Sending text which is more than 3 lines in 5 seconds
- Repeated part and join within 15 seconds
- Repeated nickname change
Are considered flooding and will be punished accordingly
3. Caps and colours
The use of capital letters is

Useless and annoying
-
Caps take up more space and
-
Give the impression that the person using it is shouting
Limited use of colours is allowed, but not the use of ASCII
4.
Swearing
Persons swearing are only annoying troublemakers.
They are not welcome in the channel and they are removed immediately
5. Nicknames
Insulting nicknames are not allowed.
Especially nicknames with sexual content that are trying to attract young users
are banned immediately and permanently.
6. Greek Fonts
Greek fonts are not allowed because not everyone has them installed on their
computers, especially users in foreign universities
7. Virus, Nukes, Scans

Sending infected files

Trojans and nukes, or
-
Scanning for open ports is not allowed
The ban will be immediate and long.
These are the rules of #Greece
- Their purpose is better functionality of the channel and not the banning of
the users.
- Sentences are up to the operator’s judgment.
- In many cases the user will be warned before kicking or banning.
Contribution from everyone will improve the channel and the user/operator
relationship
IRC is a wonderful privilage, not a right. You wont ruin it.
